It was a very foggy start to the day, but after dropping off Eddie for his last blueberry-picking session (He is off to college next week), I went up to Deeping Lakes LWT, anyhow. I was surprised to be able to record 52 species from the east pit alone, the highlight being a Ringed Plover which dropped in for a short while, announcing its presence with repeated calls.
