The probably first-winter drake Scaup was found a couple of weeks ago by Josh Jones, who said to me at the time he wasn't sure if it was alone. Yesterday, I confirmed there was another present (what looks like a first-winter female to me). Initially, they seemed unaware of each other, each hanging out with its own group of Tufties; but eventually they started hanging out together, as here.
