Here, once again, is the traditional state of my personal PBC (Peterborough Bird Club area) year list summary, as of the end March (2021).
This year, so far, though not reaching 2021's dizzying heights has been the second-best ever (ie since 2008) for me, in the first three months, well just on numbers, and about equal second best on elites. Highlights so far have included a ridiculously early Ring Ouzel, Red-breasted merganser, Green-winged Teal, 3 Iceland Gulls (all in one lunchtime), one of which was a Kumlien's Gull, a taxon I had not seen before (at Star Pit), and Glossy Ibis. Let's hope April delivers a whole load more, to at least catch up a bit on last year...
