Back from Egypt


We have just got back from an excellent week on the Red Sea, at Marsa Alam, Egypt. More later, but suffice to say, bucketloads of migrants were passing through our mini-resort. Including this Osprey.

Iceland Gull




For the second saturday running, Kevin 'Pinky' Du Rose has rescued my local year list efforts, this time finding a first-winter Iceland Gull at Tanholt Pit. There were also at least four incredibly washed-out Herring Gulls, with grey primaries.
