Lockdown Diary: Monday 15.6.20

I was back at Ferry Meadows CP on my bicycle, this morning. Nothing particularly special to report, but I did hear a Cuckoo and a couple of male Cetti’s Warblers in full song, on the way home. The Nightingales have stopped singing (if they are still around) and most of the warblers are only singing intermittently, presumably as they are concentrating their efforts on bringing up babies!
The best I could muster in the rest of the day was our first garden Meadow Brown butterfly of the year.
