Thanks, Dale. The 'studio' was my conservatory with a sheet of white paper on the floor. The detail is down to the excellence of the macro of the Canon PowerShot A640. All I did with the shots (ie processing in Photoshop) was replace the colour of the 'white paper' background and bump up the contrast with 'levels', then convert to grey-scale to make them look more 'classy'.
