European White-fronted Geese, BLGP T-junction pit

Part of a flock of 15 European White-fronted Geese, first found by Josh Jones in January and still hanging around the Baston and Langtoft vicinity. Note how one some have black bill nails and restricted 'white fronts'. These are youngsters, which also largely ack the belly bands of the adults.
Two adults, (left) and two youngsters (right)

Note these three have very little in the way of belly bands: first-winters, one presumes.
