Cute baby rhino

In a nutshell, I'm now using Firefox to blog, and it has opened up the world of Blogger videos. So, I'm going to post some of my old archive videos, which have never surfaced on the web before.

Here is one I took with my old Canon PowerShot A95 at Mkuze, South Africa, in July 2006. I was on a digiscoping trip with Swarovski Optik and we'd spent the day in the area. We had a quick last dash to the waterhole hide before we had to leave the closing park. It was our one last chance to see a White Rhino, and we got lucky – two mother rhinos were there with their young babies.

This little fellow is particularly plucky-looking in a hide-behind-mummy sought of way. Note that she only has one ear!
